Adolescent Reproductive Health
ARH(Adolescent Reproductive Health) is a special program of a Non-Government Association named ChildFund Philippines formerly
Katin-aran Children's Center.
ARH start last 2008, this special program is composed of youth from different Barangays and school in Roxas City.
Barangays are Brgy. Tiza, Brgy. Railway, Brgy. Lanot, Brgy. Bolo, Brgy. Lawa-an, Brgy. Banica , Brgy. Pta. Tabuc.
Schools are Filamer Christian College, Plaridel East Elementary School,Plaridel West Elementary School, Banica Elementary School, Venancio Alba Memorial Elementary School,Cong. Ramon A. Arnaldo High School, Roxas City School for Philippine Crafsmen and Capiz National High School.
*The Teenager from this different Schools and Barangay are trained how to be a good Facilitator and Facts about ARH. They have been also teach about HIV-AIDS. They also have a trained in Counseling. After undergoing in different kinds of trainings they are assigned on there own schools and Barangay to share to other Teenagers what they have learned They are Called "PEER EDUCATORS"
*All of them are students of different schools mentioned. Even though they are busy in school, they always find a way to took some sessions on their School/Barangay. The Peer Educators Share some Leanings they got on their Trainings undergone like how to control their temper, to give importance in the family member, what are the DO’S and DONT’S in a relationship. what is the advantage and disadvantage in entering in a relationship, guide them to do a right decisions, to prevent early pregnancy and also about HIV/AIDS
Maybe they are a simple teenager in the eye of others, but for there family and other teenager they are the new Hero of our generation.
The aim of this program is to let the teenagers be responsible in there own good way, learn to be a good role model for the next generation and encourage them to prevent early pregnancy, drugs and vices.
